The flash attack
A discovered attack (闪击) works like discovered check, but quietly: the front piece steps away attacking one target while the piece behind reveals an attack on another — the defender can only save one. Your horse on e6 can leap at the rook on h9, and its departure would open the e4 chariot's line onto a second target. Make the move that attacks two things at once: no check needed — two loose targets are worth more than one loud check.
